I believe that we are all leaders. Every day we make choices consciously or unconsciously that impact how our lives will unfold. When we are present and connected to what we care about we have the capacity to be in choice and can truly direct and lead our lives by making choices that are congruent with what we care about and, are aligned with our values.
Coaching
Coaching supports you through planned and un-planned changes, granting you access to internal and external resources to help you navigate through ambiguity and uncertainty. I provide individual coaching, team coaching and leadership development.
Workshops & Retreats
Sometimes you need to grow in a different environment than you work in. I offer customized workshops and retreats for groups, teams and organizations looking to come together and strengthen their presence and communication in-relationship. I also offer retreats for coaches looking to deepen their practice and presence.
Writing
I've been hard at work on my book about cultivating somatic presence to gain access to intentional choice. Stay tuned for upcoming news and events related to the book, as well as upcoming individual presence workshops.

As a Master Somatic coach, I use a proven embodied and linguistic framework to help individuals and teams navigate change. I have a passion for guiding clients to lead and live their lives with a wholehearted leadership presence. My areas of expertise and focus include embodied leadership, mindful presence, and inner fitness. As a powerful builder of community, I guide teams to create high-impact, collaborative cultures where people thrive. I design conversations and practices that support people to engage in dialogue and move more freely in collaboration with others.
I bring extensive experience in Human Resources Leadership including over ten years at Patagonia, where I contributed to the design of a unique corporate culture that continues to positively impact the world today. For over a decade I've run a boutique leadership development firm guiding leaders, teams, and organizations in navigating the human side of business for greater effectiveness. I have extensive experience coaching executives and leaders at all levels. My clients range from Fortune 500 companies to government agencies to non-profits. I am actively involved in my local community as a Board member serving the social sector in Santa Barbara County.
I am certified as a Master Somatic Coach from the Strozzi Institute. For nearly a decade, I served as a teacher for the Strozzi Institute for Personal Mastery/Leadership teaching courses including Leadership in Action and the Young Women’s School of Embodied Leadership (SOEL). I am certified as an Executive & Organizational Coach from The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation. I have completed additional certifications through Coaches Rising (The Power of Embodied Transformation), the Greater Good Science Center at US Berkeley (Power of Awareness), and Case Western Reserve University (Change Management). I hold a B.A. from Antioch University.
I am a co-creator of The Relating Game, Deeper Intimacy and More Meaningful Connections for Individuals and Couples (2009). I also co-authored A Princess and Her Garden—A Fable of Awakening and Arrival with Patricia R. Adson, Ph.D. (2012). This book won two Silver Nautilus Awards in 2012.
